What our work together looks like

Six-Month Leadership and Culture Transformation for Nonprofit Leaders

This 6-month transformational, high-touch program is designed to help nonprofit leaders draw on the strengths of their teams so you can be more productive, experience greater wellbeing, and create greater mission impact.

In Month 1, I’ll walk alongside you as we name your biggest problem and understand why so you can stop blaming yourself or your people and start seeing the system clearly for the first time.

In Month 2, we identify and start to build your community of practice so you can do this work with confidence because of the relational support. 

In Month 3, we build the skills and the container for the honest conversations your organization has been avoiding so you can surface hard truths without fear and experience real change. This will also include tools for resolving workplace issues constructively so you can maintain a harmonious work environment.

In Month 4, we shift your organization’s practices from deficit-based to strengths-based  so that every person on your team is seen, valued, and celebrated for bringing their full gifts to your mission. We look at your recognition systems and tailor them to acknowledge contributions effectively so you can boost morale.

In Month 5, we build the agreements, accountability structures, and metrics to regularly review the health of the changes you will make so you can measure improvement. Also, we’ll continue with a community of practice to help you hold the change so you can sustain and nurture the culture you’re building.

In Month 6, you fully embody your values as a leader with a toolbox, a community, and the courage to keep building the organization you need to successfully deliver on your mission.

Throughout it all, we are working from a foundation of being trauma-informed, while uplifting diversity and belonging so that you and your team feel respected and have equitable opportunities to thrive.

Program entry requires a Leader Shift Session. I want to make sure it is going to be a good fit.

This program is not a consultant’s report. It is a hybrid group coaching program with 1:1 coaching and a community who will be with you every step of the way. This groundswell of support will help you do the work with your teams so you can more readily embed what you learn and shift your systems and ways of being with each other so you can sustain the practices and have greater workplace well-being and impact on your mission.

Trained in the Excelerator Coaching™ Model (an award-winning framework for non-directive coaching), I work closely with leaders to help articulate goals and identify barriers in the way to achieving them. Then we work together to hold you capable of addressing and overcoming barriers to achieve your goals and outline how you will celebrate success!

Learning

We create free and paid customized training content so nonprofit leaders and engagement practitioners can build on the strengths in the room and embed equity in your work using trauma-informed approaches. Exploring decolonized ways of being in conversation with staff and communities, our training includes real-world examples, participatory small group exercises, and introspective practices, while providing you with a toolbox so you can continue building on what you learned.
